The co-creation phase of the STRATUM tool is an ongoing process and its aim is to incorporate the user perspective in all phases of the STRATUM design to ensure that their expectations, preferences and user needs are considered. Neurosurgeons and other stakeholders are involved in workshops for the design, development and testing of the STRATUM tool.
The STRATUM team is looking for additional specialists in neurosurgery or ≥ 2nd year of residency program in neurosurgery, specialists in neuroradiology, neurophysiology and neuropathology or ≥ 2nd year of residency program in each specialty, specialists in neurosurgical anaesthesiology or ≥ 2nd year of residency programme in each specialty, neurosurgery specialist nurses.
During the focus groups with participants from different countries an environment that facilitates the co-creation process is fostered. The workshops take place mainly online and are held in English or Spanish. All participants receive a certificate of participation in the workshops.
